This week's DIY is a nail DIY! Ombre is a huge trend and DIY blog, Studs and Pearls, is showing followers how to do autumn-themed ombre on your nails! It's a rather simple process and looks great! Here's how:
You will need: -2 or more polishes in autumn shades (think oranges, greens, reds, yellows, golds, purples, browns!) -Makeup sponge

3) If you are using three shades, apply a liberal amount of the third color to the makeup sponge. Stamp on the top third of each nail. Repeat for each nail and let dry.

Saturday-DIY!
Fall is one of the best times of year to do some interior decorating! Pumpkins are in season and a great way to add a touch of Autumn to your home. Here is a DIY idea to make your pumpkins a little more decorative and glitzy!
All you need is a pumpkin, Gold leaf paper (found at most craft stores), Mod Podge, and a foam applicator
All you need is a pumpkin, Gold leaf paper (found at most craft stores), Mod Podge, and a foam applicator
- Start by applying a thin coat Mod Podge to everywhere that you want your gold leaf to go.
- Break off small pieces of gold leaf, and apply carefully… patting it down to adhere to the Mod Podge.
- Work carefully… the gold leaf is a bit delicate, but if you pat it gently, it will stick. Don’t worry about it breaking… the haphazard look adds texture and looks really pretty in the end.
- Allow to dry. (Go wash your hands… they’ll be covered in gold leaf and Mod Podge!)
- Once the first layer is dry, apply a second coat of Mod Podge to seal. Allow to dry, and proudly display.
This week's DIY project was taken from Stripes + Sequins, a fashion and DIY blog for the sparkle obsessed.

Monday Tip & Tricks- How to mix prints
Wearing two different prints can make for a really stylish look. But, it can also make for a fashion disaster when done incorrectly. But don't be intimidated, everyone can learn to mix prints and make a fabulous ensemble!
A wise place to begin when experimenting with mixing prints is to choose one bold, printed piece to be a main starting point. An easy combination to try first is stripes and polka dots!
A wise place to begin when experimenting with mixing prints is to choose one bold, printed piece to be a main starting point. An easy combination to try first is stripes and polka dots!
Another helpful tip is to choose different prints in the same color family so your outfit blends. The scale of the prints is also important. Stick to one large print to one small print or two small prints together. Accessories can also help to top off an outfit with mixed prints. Try a solid colored belt, earrings, or a clutch!
